5.Principle Introduction:
  1).The inside of the sensor is an infrared pair tube.When the light passes through a certain amount of water,the amount of light transmission depends on the degree of pollution of the water.The more polluted the water,the less light is transmitted.The light receiving end converts the transmitted light intensity into the corresponding current.

  2).This module has analog and digital output interfaces.The analog quantity can be sampled by the single-chip A/D converter to know the current turbidity of the water.The digital quantity can adjust the trigger threshold through the potentiometer on the module.When the turbidity reaches the set threshold,the L1 indicator will be lit.The output of the sensor module changes from high level to low level.The microcontroller monitors the level change,Determine whether the turbidity of the water exceeds the standard,so as to warn or link other equipment.

6.Precautions for Use:
  1).The turbidity sensor is encapsulated in a plastic shell,and the top of the sensor cannot be waterproof.It is forbidden to soak the probe in water when using it;the water surface to be measured cannot exceed the connection between the cover and the shell to avoid damage to the sensor probe.

  2).The measurement part at the bottom of the sensor should be kept clean to avoid the reduction of measurement accuracy or inaccurate measurement due to the adsorption and blocking of pollutants.

  3).The wavelength range of light received by the photodiode of the sensor is 500~1050nm.Fluorescent lamps and ambient light will affect the signal reception of the photosensitive sensor,thereby affecting the measurement accuracy and causing the measurement error to increase;therefore,the turbidity sensor probe should be avoided during measurement.Fluorescent lamps and direct sunlight.

  1).Q:What substances can the turbidity sensor measure in water?
      A:The turbidity sensor measures the particulate floating matter in the water environment,such as:sediment,clay,metal particles,organic matter,plankton and microorganisms and other suspended substances;it is not suitable for measuring water quality caused by ink,color and pigment.Pollutes the environment;the way some individual users measure with a few drops of ink mixed with pure water is the wrong solution.

      A:The sensor control board supports simultaneous output of analog and digital signals:

  4).Q:Why is the output voltage of the analog signal lower when the sensor is not in contact with water,but higher when it is in clean water?
      A:This is determined by the hardware characteristics of the sensor.The photoelectric infrared through-beam sensor is used.In the natural environment,the ambient light affects the transmission of the infrared light signal;while in clean water,the output voltage becomes higher,because the water It increases the refraction of infrared light,but helps the transmission of infrared light;so when we set the corresponding value,we should take the corresponding value in clear water and turbid water,not from the natural environment when the probe is not in contact with water.value.
