Temperature and Humidity Meter：A Practical Soldering Kit with OLED Display, developed by ICSTATION, is a functional and educational soldering project designed for electronics hobbyists, students, and makers. It is capable of measuring ambient temperature and humidity, providing real-time data. Equipped with a bright and energy-efficient OLED display, the device clearly shows either the current temperature or humidity level. A built-in button allows users to easily switch between the two modes, offering flexibility and convenience.

 

Multi-Colored LED Indicators：In the design of the thermometer, ICSTATION incorporated a series of LEDs in varying colors to visually represent different temperature levels. As the temperature increases, the LEDs light up progressively from cooler to warmer colors — starting with blue and green for lower temperatures and gradually shifting to yellow, orange, and red for higher temperatures. This intuitive color gradient allows users to quickly assess the surrounding temperature at a glance.

 

Temp Comfort Indicators：Beyond the use of colored LEDs to indicate temperature levels, ICSTATION introduced a creative element to enhance user interaction: facial expressions light up based on the detected temperature. These expressions are thoughtfully designed to reflect a range of emotions — from happy and content in cooler conditions to uneasy and irritable as the temperature increases. This visual representation makes the device more intuitive and engaging, especially for younger users or in educational settings.

 

Dual Units (℃/℉) Display：To ensure usability for a global audience, ICSTATION thoughtfully included a feature that allows users to toggle between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F) temperature units. With the simple press of a button, you can switch the display to your preferred measurement system, making the device convenient for users regardless of regional or personal habits. This added flexibility enhances the project’s practicality and user-friendliness, making it suitable for classrooms, workshops, or homes in any country.

 

3-Layer Structure：To enhance both the visual appeal and the overall user experience, ICSTATION designed this device with a carefully engineered 3-layer structure, 2 PCBs and 1 Acrylic Protection Panel, which balances form and function, making the device safer to handle, more reliable in daily use, and visually refined. It reflects ICSTATION’s commitment to quality in both educational and practical DIY electronics projects.
