This power outage alarm kit includes an alarm circuit and a city power monitoring circuit. The city power is rectified and limited by R5, and then supplied to the monitoring circuit. The LED on the board indicates the presence of power. The optocoupler N provides a primary current, making the output end conductive. U2's 5th input is a low level input, and its 7th output is also a low level. When city power is lost, N is turned off. At this point, U2's 5th input receives power supply voltage, which becomes a high level. Its output end outputs a high level, triggering VT2 to power the alarm circuit and produce an audible alarm signal.
