Easy to put together. Works just as shown in the video. Found it only worked well on voltages of 10.3V and above. Run it off a 12v 250mA plug pack.

Works remarkably well.

this item works well, but if powered with 3.3v, the x/y trackball values are inconsistent, and one of the up/down or left/right may not work. ( I have 2, and the 'dead' axis was different between the 2). The solution is to use 5v. Also on one, the ball switch does not make a 'click' when pressed, but the switch does work. The green led is not as bright as the other 3, but that is a 'feature' of green leds. Also, red and blue are reversed, but can just be reprogrammed. Thanks, IC Station. (the 320x240 tft also works well...)

At less than $13, this 16x32 dual color LED matrix is a great deal. However, there does not seem to be any documentation on the product page. No assembly instructions, no circuit diagram, no example code. :-( I would not recommend this as your first surface mount soldering kit, there is a lot of soldering involved here. As I mention in my video, with proper tools, it is not as difficult as it looks.
