These elements—such as snowflakes, stars, Santa Claus, and Christmas stocking—are not just printed on the board but also paired with LEDs of different colors strategically placed to highlight each shape. Once powered on, the LEDs illuminate these decorations, bringing the entire tree to life with vibrant and colorful lighting effects.
3 Lighting Modes: In addition to its decorative lighting, ICSTATION has thoughtfully designed 3 distinct lighting modes for the Christmas tree. These modes can be easily toggled using a button located at the base of the tree. Each mode brings the Christmas-themed patterns on the PCB to life in a unique way——Breathing Light Mode—Steady-On Mode——Random Flashing Mode. These lighting effects not only showcase the DIY soldering skills involved but also make the tree an interactive and eye-catching centerpiece for holiday setting.
Musical Christmas Tree: Unlike other Christmas tree kits in the ICSTATION store, this newly designed version stands out not only for its upgraded appearance but also for its added functionality—music. The tree features a built-in Christmas melody that plays in a continuous loop, enhancing the holiday spirit with cheerful sound as well as light. A dedicated music switch is included, allowing users to easily turn the music on or off according to their preference.
Structural Design: The Christmas tree soldering project designed by ICSTATION features a thoughtfully engineered 3-layer structure: two stacked PCBs and a transparent acrylic panel. The dual-layer PCB design ensures that all electronic components and solder joints are hidden beneath the surface, keeping the front of the tree clean, neat, and visually appealing. The transparent acrylic layer serves a dual purpose—it adds a sleek, modern touch to the design while also functioning as a protective barrier between the user’s hands and the soldered components.
